BASCONCILLOS DOMAIN ALTO DEL CURA 2020

Alto del Cura is the most direct and vibrant expression of altitude. Produced by the Dominio de Basconcillos winery in one of the highest areas of the Ribera del Duero (around 1,000 meters), this wine stands out for its exceptional freshness and an elegance that only the extreme climate can bestow. It is a red wine with soul, where fruit and oak coexist in perfect balance.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: It has an intense cherry red color with violet edges, a sign of its excellent structure and youth.

• Nose: An explosion of ripe red and black fruit (blackberries, raspberries) intertwined with spicy notes, hints of licorice and a mineral background very characteristic of the limestone soil of the estate.

• On the palate: This is a full-bodied wine, yet surprisingly agile. Its tannins are fine and sweet, offering a silky mouthfeel with a long, persistent, and very fresh finish.
