It is a red wine produced in one of the highest areas of the appellation (around 1000 meters). This altitude is key, as it provides freshness and a natural acidity that is very difficult to find in other wines from the area.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Intense cherry color with violet edges.
- Nose: Aromas of ripe red fruit, licorice and subtle mineral notes due to the altitude of the vineyard.
- Palate: Fresh entry, full-bodied but very balanced. Polished tannins and a long finish.
Pairing: Ideal with grilled red meats, Castilian roasts, small game, and aged cheeses. Serving: Recommended serving temperature between 14°C and 16°C.
Main features:
-
Variety: 100% Tempranillo (Tinta del País).
-
Breeding: It usually spends about 12 months in French oak barrels.
-
Profile: It is an elegant wine, not as "heavy" as traditional Ribera wines. It has a lot of red fruit, floral touches and a very well integrated wood that does not mask the flavor of the grape.
