Editor is a winery with over 50 years of experience in the sector and located in a privileged area of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin as is the Rioja Alavesa region. We have 46 hectares of vineyards whose age and care guarantee the quality of our wines. The main variety is Tempranillo, complemented by Graciano and Mazuelo.
TYPE OF WINE: Red
VARIETY: Tempranillo small grain, with a vineyard age of 45 to 55 years.
ELABORATION: Hand-harvested. Grapes destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28/30º. Maceration period of 3 weeks.
BREEDING: Aged 12 months in French oak barrels. Aged for a minimum of 6-9 months in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Clean and bright. Deep cherry red with violet highlights. High density. Intense nose, ripe red and black fruits blended with roasted and spicy nuances from the oak. On the palate, the wine is smooth and creamy, with sweet tannins from the oak and ripe fruit filling the mouth with pleasant sensations. The acidity adds brightness and length to the wine. The finish is harmonious with hints of black licorice and Indian spices.
CONSUMPTION TEMPERATURE: 14ºC
CONSUMPTION PERIOD: 5 to 10 years.
